Light is measured in Candles and Lux. An inquiry into light as an agent of architectural transformation, this project reconsiders the latent potential of a neglected Brutalist building through adaptive reuse. Light becomes both measure and medium — carving and recalibrating the existing structure to reveal new forms of domesticity. The dialogue between mass and illumination, permanence and change, reframes the building as a light-shaped framework for collective living.
